Strond demand for East Village at Prince Henry
Published: 04/11/2009
More than 75 percent of apartments have sold off-the-plan in just one week into a private sales launch at Stage One of Multiplex Living’s East Village at Prince Henry, Sydney, reflecting strong market demand for premium quality apartment stock.
Situated on the eastern fringe of Prince Henry and the Coast Golf Course, in Darwin & Curie Avenues within a prime beachside environment in the prestigious Eastern Suburbs, the location provides all the amenities of a city lifestyle without the fast-pace and noise.
Due for completion in 2010, East Village will comprise a total of 56 residences across four separate single level buildings each with just 14 homes and the unique appeal of having no neighbours above or below the occupier, a very rare trait for apartment-style living.
Appealing to a wide range of buyers seeking entry into the prestigious Eastern coastal strip; a mix of people buying their first homes, owner-occupiers seeking a coastal lifestyle and investors have all purchased in Stage One of East Village, proving a strong desire for residential opportunities within this price bracket.
Stage One comprises eight 1- bed single level residences, twelve 1-bed + study lofts, four 1- bed lofts and four 2-bed single level residences. 21 of the 28 apartments in the first stage have sold with prices achieved ranging from $467,000 to $649,000.
“East Village has been popular with local buyers in all life stages, as it allows them to remain close to work, friends and family while living in an area surrounded by water and green open spaces. It has proven an appealing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the inner city and also more affordable than other beaches in the Eastern Suburbs,” said Tim Willing Director of Sales and Marketing for Multiplex Living.
East Village is part of the award-winning masterplanned community of Prince Henry at Little Bay created by Landcom just 20 minutes from the city. The community will have a local shopping village comprising a café, supermarket, newsagent and deli. With construction of the retail precinct well underway, it is due for completion in early 2011. Prince Henry also includes numerous public parks, a brand new community centre, which will also have a cafe, and several beautifully restored buildings. The location is unique, within close proximity to four Golf Courses, native parklands, and the exclusive Little Bay Beach cove. Westfield Eastgardens is also nearby with Hoyts, major grocery stores and retail outlets plus an abundance of local schools can be accessed by major arterial roads and an extensive bus route.
The residences designed by Bates Smart Architects feature traditional colonnaded verandas, period balustrades, expansive windows, soaring ceilings up to 5.4m high, modern CaesarStone kitchen benchtops and wool carpets. A fully integrated refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are provided for each residence.
Just seven 1-bedroom apartments remain available for sale. The prices range from $528,000 to $565,000.
Construction of Stage One of Little Bay is expected to be completed late 2010. Registrations of interest for Stage Two Final Release have now commenced.
